This Privacy Policy explains how Feltsense Holdings (“gutcheck,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the gutcheck website at gutcheck.co, our applications, and our related services (the “Service”). It is part of and incorporated into our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Scope
This Policy covers personal information about people who create accounts, visit our site, or otherwise interact with the Service. It does not cover third-party websites or services that we do not control, or the practices of companies we do not own or manage.
2. Information we collect
Account and profile information. When you register, we collect information such as your name, work email, organization, role, and account settings.
Billing information. When you purchase a plan or credits, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes your payment details. We do not store full payment card numbers; we receive limited information such as billing contact, the last digits, and transaction status.
Customer Inputs. We collect the company names, documents, data, and other materials you submit to run diligence. These may include information about third parties, including business contacts, that you choose to provide.
Usage and device data. We automatically collect log and usage data when you use the Service, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages and features used, actions taken, referring pages, and timestamps.
Cookies and similar technologies. We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 6.
Communications. When you contact us for support or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you provide and our correspondence.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service, including running diligence and generating Outputs;
- process payments, manage credits and subscriptions, and prevent fraud;
- provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- monitor, analyze, and improve the Service and develop new features;
- send administrative, security, and transactional messages, and, where permitted, product updates you can opt out of;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and policies.
4. AI and automated processing
The Service uses artificial intelligence and automated processing to generate Outputs. To do this, your Customer Inputs may be processed by us and by third-party model and infrastructure providers acting as our service providers under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
Training. We do not use your Customer Inputs to train our own models. We process Customer Inputs using established AI labs under enterprise agreements that include data retention and confidentiality terms governing how those inputs are handled.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
Service providers. With vendors that help us operate the Service, such as cloud hosting, the payment processor, analytics providers, communications tools, and AI model and data providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, or property of gutcheck, our users, or others.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
With your direction or consent. When you ask us to share information or otherwise consent.
6. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Service, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling some cookies may limit functionality. Where required, we will present cookie choices and honor recognized opt-out signals.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for the purposes described in this Policy, and then as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We retain Customer Inputs and Outputs for the period associated with your account and our backup and retention schedules. You can request deletion as described in Section 9.
8. Data security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information appropriate to its sensitivity. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise your rights, contact us at help@gutcheck.co. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
EEA and UK. If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases for processing include performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, your consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, access, correct, and delete personal information and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at help@gutcheck.co.
10. International data transfers
We are based in the United States and may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we use safeguards required by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at help@gutcheck.co and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Service may contain links to third-party sites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date, and for material changes we will provide additional notice where required. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
